2 c Strained honey
1 tb Butter or butter substitute
1 tb Lemon juice
1/8 ts Baking soda
Few grains salt

Heat honey to boiling. Add baking soda, butter, lemon juice, and
salt. Boil to hard ball stage (265 – 270 F). Pour into well-buttered
pan. Cool. Pull until white and porous. Cut in 1 inch pieces. Iva C.
